Looking to get back into animating cartoons, trying to build a new animation portfolio.

I just need a story worth telling!

Big news! On Nov. 1st 2010 I quit pop.
Withdraw was rough. It took 60+ hours of withdrawal migraine, and three separate nausea induced vomits before the symptoms have faded. And then I was physically free, but the psychological battle raged on for a few weeks. It was especially hard when eating out! So weird to choose lemonade instead of diet coke @ subway!

Today though, after a decade of drinking four or more 2liters of pop a day...
I am caffeine free for 2 months!

Sometimes I wonder if I'm too old for newgrounds. But how can an animation aficionado like myself ever grow tired of indie cartoons and video games? I'll always be lurking.

I just want to say that I think Barack Obama will be the best president we have ever had. I voted for him in 2005 and I voted for him again in 2008. I want to say this now, publicly, at the beginning of his term in office, before anything that might change public opinion happens. Here's hoping for a better world.

Why should you know me? For the same reason you should know earfetish or purelionheart or crimson_edge or Gooch. I was a key player in the part of newgrounds history that took place between 2004 and 2006.

We were able to have a mature argument over the distribution of goods... I got involved in a lot of political threads, but wont really post links since it was always just me ripping off the daily show. My political stance hasn't changed much, but in retrospect my immaturity shows in those posts.

I also spent a lot of time picture spamming and was known to be quite the attention whore.

But most of my critiquing and advice occurred on Josh Bend's web startup Retrogade, which cloned newgrounds portal/forum layout, only for art, and was entirely populated by Newgrounds transients.
